I made a interesting trip down to Farmington, New Mexico last week for work. The EPA was holding public meetings on the Navajo Reservation about pollution controls on the coal fired powerplant. There was a court recorder and a Dine (Navajo language interpreter) at the meeting. As everywhere, everyone wants clear skies, clean air, and cheap, plentiful energy. I think we should spend more money on pollution controls and less money on wars.
