Anyone who knows Bruce, knows he LOVES the Moody Blues. I like them too. Its one of those groups from the 1960s/1970s that I can clearly tie events to the first (or second or umpteenth) time I heard one of their songs or albums. "Ride My Seesaw" when I was a 15 year old babysitting on a Saturday night in Grand Rapids, Easter Weekend 1971 when my parents left my brothers and I in charge of the house in Boyne City. Anyway, the Moodies were playing at Red Rocks. What an amazing venue carved out of the Fountain sandstone in the hogbacks along the Front Range. That Saturday nights was one of the few nights we have had without rain, cold or wind. We got their plenty early and it was great fun to watch the stadium fill up with people, the sun go down, and some great musicians play their heart out. The drummer just turned 70 years old (!).
